Wayne B. Addis is a founding member of Addis Greenberg, LLC. His practice emphasizes Criminal Defense, DUI/Traffic and Municipal Law. He represents clients in a wide variety of litigation matters in State Courts and administrative agencies. With over 45 years of experience, Mr. Addis has achieved tremendous results for his clients both at trial and through settlement.
He is the Prosecutor for the Villages of Northbrook, Morton Grove, Glencoe, Kenilworth, Wilmette, and the City of Park Ridge, IL. This distinguishes him from others in the fields of Criminal, Traffic and Municipal Law.
Mr. Addis spent eight years as an Assistant State's Attorney for Cook County, serving as a First Chair Felony Trial Assistant at the main 26th and California Criminal Courthouse. While there, he prosecuted every imaginable felony case. He was also an Assistant State’s Attorney assigned to the Federal Litigation Division. Additionally, during his tenure he was appointed as a Special Assistant State's Attorney to the President of the Cook County Board on matters of local and national significance.
At the inception of his legal career, Mr. Addis served as a Felony Trial Attorney for the Cook County Public Defender's Office.
Mr. Addis is a graduate of Northern Illinois University (B.A. 1975) and Northern Illinois University College of Law (J. D. 1978).
